Maureen Zappala is a former NASA propulsion engineer, having spent 13 years at the Lewis Research center in Cleveland, conducting jet engine research. She’s now a speaker and presentation coach, as well as a mom to 2 teenagers. In fact, she says “Raising kids is WAY HARDER than jet engine research. WAY HARDER!”You may think that engineers are not known for their verbal communication skills, but that’s a stereotype to be shattered.
